We carry a large range of covering materials including vistafoil,
clear plastic and commando covers. Vistafoil is a particularly useful self
adhesive protective film for paper backs and other books without jackets. It
will add protection, not strength to the covers but for those of good
quality and well preserved, this may not be needed. Our clear plastic is
1400 microns thick and non-adhesive. No explanation needed for this high
quality product as it is the most popular covering material in any library.
Economical since you can cut the exact length you need to cover the book
jacket. Crystal clear and long wearing. Commando covers are specifically for
paperbacks and magazines. Commando covers will avoid the covers becoming
battered and losing their ability to stay flat. Commando covers come in roll
form or cut sheets. We suggest 3m book repair tape or our own Vista tape for
the spine.
